• Lose Weight Fast: Pipe Dream or Possibility?

    “How does one lose weight fast?” is one of the most common questions that people who has gained, well, let’s just say, extra poundage. And yet, it is still one of the most difficult questions to answer. Gaining weight is easy. Stuff yourself and avoid looking in the mirror. But losing the weight you gained is an altogether different thing. So how do you really lose weight fast?

    First of all, losing weight requires strong resolve. Once you have committed to the idea that you need to lose weight, you have to find the ideal diet for your body type, and one that won’t require you at any point to eat much less than your body is comfortable with. A true lose weight fast program should promote diets that encourage the intake of the necessary amount of all the essential nutrients.

    The keyword is “necessary”. Carbohydrates are definitely an essential nutrient, but if you take a lesser amount of it without going overboard, it will reduce your weight.  But it should be complimented by unsaturated fats and lean proteins. This formula equates to a healthy way of reducing weight.

    Another key element of a good lose weight fast diet is giving up on sodas and other carbonated drinks. They do not help the metabolism like water does. And avoid junk food as much as possible. It is not easy but it can be done. And to help you curb that junk food craving, stock up lots of vegetables and fruits, so when you feel the urge to pop something in your mouth, you can be sure that what you are eating is actually good for you. You can also try going for five or six short meals daily, instead of the usual three big meals. And never ever skip breakfast.

    Make sure you are getting at least 8 eight oz glasses of water each day.  The more water you drink, the more weight you lose.  There are many reasons that water helps you lose weight.  For one, drinking an 8 oz glass of water before each meal helps you feel full, so you eat less.  Also, water speeds up your metabolism, causing your body to burn more calories.

    Drinking water that is room temperature is much better for you than drinking cold water.  This is because your body is able to process it immediately.  It is also more convenient because you can keep water in your car or desk and drink it anytime.

    If your schedule permits it, try to develop an exercise routine that you can incorporate into your daily routine. But if you don’t have the luxury of time, you can do some simple exercises like walking to the mall, to the parking area or limbering up behind your desk in your office.

And if despite all your attempts to lose weight with all the different lose weight fast diets you tried, and your body still holds on to the unwanted fat, try visiting a physician. Your weight problem might be secondary to an underlying metabolic disorder, something that no amount of dieting will resolve.
